Yellow glass VASE _ 570
Yellow glass VASE _ 570
Hand-blown in Czechoslovakia, ca. 1960s–1970s.
This vibrant yellow glass vase is a striking example of mid-century Czech glass design, attributed to Miroslav Klinger - an influential figure of the Czech applied arts scene. Known for his work at the Zelezný Brod Glassworks, Klinger’s signature lies in the amorphous, organic forms that feel both sculptural and spontaneous. Each vase is hand-blown, with fluid, freeform silhouettes that catch and reflect light in soft, unexpected ways. Their bold yellow hue brings warmth and energy, making them ideal as statement pieces or paired together for maximum visual impact.
Although not Hungarian, socialist-era trade allowed these designs to circulate widely across the region. Today, they evoke a shared cultural nostalgia across former Eastern Bloc countries. At Finecut, we preserve and curate these pieces as luminous reminders of a rich, regional design heritage.
