Vintage PRESERVING JAR

A tall cylinder shape glass preserving jar from the mid-20th century. Pressed into form and marked Tokod on the bottom, referencing the Hungarian town where the glass manufactory operated. Each piece carries unique surface irregularities and air bubbles - traces of its handmade origin. Once used for storing seasonal goods, it now lends itself beautifully to contemporary interiors as a statement vase or standalone object with quiet, utilitarian charm.
