Vintage Green Prokuplje VASE
Vintage Green Prokuplje VASE
Hand-blown in Yugoslavia during the 1960s–70s, this vintage glass vase is a striking example of the Prokuplje factory’s signature style. Known for its vibrant coloring, fluid silhouette, and mid-century modern sensibility, the piece reflects the era’s most experimental Eastern European design.
Crafted at the Fabrika Stakla in Prokuplje - where many designs are attributed to Dragan Drobnjak - each vase is unique, made through skilled hand-blown techniques. Although not Hungarian, socialist-era trade allowed their spread - they now evoke a shared cultural nostalgia across former Eastern Bloc countries.
Today, these objects are prized by collectors for their sculptural form and timeless appeal. A rare find that adds a pop of history and color to any interior.
