Set of six fish-shaped SHOOTER GLASSES _ 552
A set of vintage rust brown faience fish-shaped shooter glasses from the Polonne Porcelain Factory (Ukraine, former USSR). Originally created as part of a decanter set for serving spirits, they now work equally well as miniature vases or displayed together as a sculptural group. Part of the iconic "Polonne fish" series, they are prized collectibles from the Soviet-era ceramic tradition.
Although not Hungarian in origin, these small faience fish spread widely through socialist-era trade across the Eastern Bloc, becoming beloved and familiar objects in many Hungarian homes. Today, they are cherished as nostalgic symbols of a shared regional past and collective memory.
