Rust brown FLOOR VASE

This striking rust brown faience floor vase was produced at the historic Gránit Factory in Kispest ca. 1970s, one of Hungary’s leading fine ceramics manufacturers from 1923 until 2001. Known for blending industrial production with quality craftsmanship, Gránit played a key role in shaping mid-century domestic design behind the Iron Curtain.
While the designer of this piece remains unknown, its bold proportions and earthy glaze reflect the factory’s quiet modernism and emphasis on durable, functional forms.
