Handcrafted by Ferenc Halmos in 2023, this lung-shaped porcelain vase features a nude base tone animated by turquoise crystalline growth. Each crystal developed during carefully programmed cooling cycles, making the surface entirely unique.
Crystalline glazing is among the most demanding ceramic techniques, requiring exact chemical composition and firing control. Halmos’ decades of research and experimentation allow him to achieve large, well-defined crystal formations while maintaining structural clarity.
