Porcelain VASE with teal crystalline-glaze _ 1374

Created in 2019 by Ferenc Halmos, this pipe-mouth flattened oval bud porcelain vase features a white–turquoise crystalline glaze with expansive, organic crystal structures developed during controlled cooling.
With decades of experience in ceramic technology - from majolica production to university teaching - Halmos approaches glaze as both chemistry and creative experiment. Crystalline glazes, historically associated with Sèvres and Art Nouveau porcelain, remain one of the most technically complex glaze families.
The clean silhouette allows the crystallization to become the focal point, making each vase a unique record of fire, chemistry, and time.
