This hand-built vase by Lívia Gorka (1925-2011) combines an organic form with a structured striped surface.
The deep turquoise ground is interrupted by black and white stripes, applied in a way that follows the form rather than a strict geometric order. The result is a surface that feels both controlled and intuitive.
